BOJAGI Workshop-26. Feb 6:00 - 8:00 pm
A$55.00

Bojagi is a traditional Korean textile practice that uses small pieces of cloth joined together through careful hand-sewing. The technique is defined by its distinctive seams, which are finished on both sides, allowing the textile to be viewed from front or back with equal clarity. Rather than hiding construction, bojagi celebrates it: seams become lines of drawing, structure, and rhythm across the surface.

In this workshop, participants will learn a basic bojagi seam method that creates clean, durable joins without a backing fabric. The process encourages attentiveness, patience, and improvisation, as irregular fragments are slowly assembled into a unified whole. Bojagi emphasizes balance, transparency, and the quiet beauty of repair, reuse, and mindful making.
